The Benefits of Golf Lessons Online

If you think the only way to learn golf is expensive private lessons, you’re missing out on a great benefit of the technology revolution: Golf lessons online. Whether you want to study swing fundamentals or take a refresher course on golf etiquette, you are bound to find an online instruction program to help.

Many sites offer their lessons at little or no charge, while others are more expensive. Some websites offer “teasers,” or free lessons to encourage you to sign up for a more costly program. Before you sign up for a set of lessons, read the fine print so you’ll know what kind of a financial commitment you’re making and if there are any limitations on the program, such as the number of weeks you have to complete it.

Golf lessons online come in many different formats. These include reading materials, such as a batch of articles on a certain subject, and audio-video materials that allow you to watch and listen as the instructor demonstrates a technique properly.

An especially popular online program allows you to take individual lessons from a golf pro. After paying for the instruction, you’ll be told to ask a friend or a family member to use a digital camera with video capabilities to record your play. The golf pro will then look over the recordings and respond with suggestions. This process can last several weeks as you incorporate the suggestions and record additional videos for analysis. Making an International Move from the UK

As it stands, moving is already one of the most stressful things that most people will have to do in their life. If you are attempting to make an overseas move the process can become even more complicated. There are many things that you have to consider when you are making a move; how you will move your things Is one of the biggest. If you were only moving locally then you should be in luck because a local move may simply entail enlisting the services of a moving truck and possibly some personnel to assist you.

Robinsons 1stopship International Baggage Removals is a company that has, in recent years, come to be one of the most well-known and accredited moving companies the world over. The company has been given multiple awards for their outstanding customer service and have quickly become the premier moving service based in the UK. There are many different locations throughout the UK, so finding a Robinsons’ branch should not be that hard.

Once you have gotten to the nearest Robinsons baggage shipping location you will then want to decide how to go about shipping your things. There are several different methods that you can use while dealing with Robinsons. The most locally popular way to move is to simply rent a truck and a few movers to help along the way. However if you are going to be moving overseas there will be some things that may make things a little bit more complicated.

Having the ability to deal with the most professional and safest baggage courier company in the world is an advantage in and of itself, especially if you are shipping overseas. Having to try and move all of your things in the cargo bay of the plane that you ride over can be expensive; however shipping with Robinsons can drastically reduce the amount of money that you spend on shipping your consignment.

Watch the Latest Movies At Sea

I must admit that my experience of watching movies while travelling had always been a bit of a disaster. When I am on a plane I never seem to find anything decent at all. A particularly traumatic flight when I was stuck with the choice of Legally Blonde or one of those Lethal Weapon things still remain fresh in my memory. I went with Legally Blonde by the way but I still have my doubts about having made the right choice.

Anyway, that was nothing compared to the horrific bus journey I once undertook in South America. If you can imagine 10 hours on bumpy roads accompanied by a badly pirated copy of the entire Home Alone series dubbed into Spanish then I am sure that you sympathise with me.

So you can imagine my delight when I discovered that modern cruise ships such as Oasis of the Seas offer the very latest films to their guests. These are shown in classy theatres and a lot of the vessels also have amazing poolside theatres which are brilliant for late night films under the stars. I hear that they even lay on the popcorn for you.

This is likely to be a big attraction of the trip for a film buff like me. I don’t get to the cinema as much as I would like to and the chance to see some of the latest movies in a relaxed setting just sounds too good to be true. In fact, I would go so far as to say that it is one of the key factors I will be taking into account for my future holidays.

I really enjoy travelling but the thought of a long and dull journey often puts me of the idea before I even pack my flip flops and factor 40 sun cream. Just 2 or 3 hours on a plane can seem like torture to me. For some reason I just can’t seem to ever be able to concentrate on books, magazine or even the undoubted comedic talents of Reese Witherspoon.

Home Comforts Close to Hand

If I compare the thought of twisting and turning in my seat for a couple of hours to a longer but infinitely more comfortable journey then there is no comparison in my book. I guess it also saves that age old problem of not knowing what to do in the evenings when I am far from home. I have tried watching films abroad but the closest I have got to an enjoyable experience so far was a showing of Shrek 2 in Italian. With cruise ship movies I can settle down and watch new films in English knowing that I am not far from my cabin and all sorts of home comforts.

If this sounds like the easy option then I make no apologies for preferring it that way. My days of getting travel sick while watching the lovable MacAulay Culkin lay all sort of lavish and frankly improbable traps for bungling crooks are long gone. Can you blame me?

The Beauty of the Azamara Journey

Going away on holiday is about seeing beautiful places and enjoying fantastic experiences. I am sorry if that was a really obvious opening line but it seems as though not everyone sees it as being quite as clear-cut as I do.

I am certainly not here to tell anyone to do things, and if your summer holidays are the best two weeks of your year then you will want to make sure that they are as close as possible to your own personal idea of perfection.

Having said that, I think it is worth bearing in mind all of the options before you head off anywhere, and looking at the beauty of the Azamara journey on a top cruise is a very smart way of doing it. Let’s check out this type of holiday compared to some other ideas.

Go the Same Place Every Year

A lot of people like to take their summer holidays in the same place every year. This isn’t a bad idea if you want the security and comfort of familiar surroundings, but there is also a big, wide world out there waiting to be explored. In fact, one of the main reasons why families choose to go on a cruise is because they get to settle down into the one bedroom while seeing a lot of different places during the days. This means that your ship will feel like home by the end of the cruise but that you will also have got to enjoy a bit of the beautiful world we live in.

Stay In an All Inclusive Resort

This is another option which a lot of people take purely for the convenience if offers. However, the big drawback is that you can find that you pass far too much time inside the resort itself. If the food and the facilities are all covered in the price then you have very little incentive to go elsewhere and try out new things. You might think that a cruise holiday is the same sort of idea, as the food is usually included in the price. The difference is that you get to see lots of different and exciting islands, towns and cities arriving to your doorstep when you are on board a cruise ship.

Sail the World

I used to think that cruises were just for older people and anyone who had a lot of spare time on their hands. They always gave me the impression of leisurely and rather formal affairs on which children and fun loving young adults would be a bit out of place. Thankfully this is no longer the case and if we look at some of the top cruises these days we can see fun and invigorating experiences for the whole family. Great food, lots of entertainment and ever changing scenery all add up to mean that you get a holiday which makes you feel as though you have really been somewhere special. If you have never tried one of these trips then now might just be the perfect time to see what all the fuss is about.

Gulet Holidays in Turkey

Holidays in Turkey can be so diverse, with three sides of the country surrounded by ocean and made up of bays, caves, coves, beaches and other beautiful landscape begging to be explored. There is no better way to do it than on a Turkish gulet cruise.

These luxurious and great looking wooden boats are ideal for sailing around the breathtaking coastlines of magnificent Turkish holiday resorts and beyond, whilst dining, swimming, relaxing and sightseeing in total comfort.
Derived from the French word goulette, meaning sailboat or schooner, the Turkish gulet is a wooden vessel, made locally and traditionally used for transport and fishing along the southern coasts of Turkey. Nowadays, they are designed, built and fitted with comfort in mind and are an increasingly popular way to spend holidays in Turkey; or parts of one at least.
Gulet cruises are ideal for sightseeing holidays and tours that extend beyond the major Turkish resorts and beaches, and are also popular platforms for a host of watersports and adventures. Windsurf, fishing, snorkelling and canoeing equipment can be provided.
Turkey holiday tourists can choose to enjoy an interesting and relaxing day journey on a shorter, but equally mesmerising local route or can choose to extend their stay with gulet holidays available which include overnight stays. These gullets offer spacious lower decks and cabins with comfortable rooms and individual bathrooms.
With a gulet holiday, tourists can see and experience more on their Turkey holiday and can explore a greater variety of Turkey’s diverse irresistible landscape. Often, the gulet cruise holiday price will include accommodation, all harbour and local taxes, full board, linen and the services of the crew.
Take to the turquoise waters of the Turkish coastline and experience the most astonishing sights and sounds of this fantastic holiday destination whilst trying your hand at all kinds of interesting diversions, or simply taking a load off and relaxing in the on deck sunshine.

Evaluating a coastal cruiser

Going coastal? You have abundant choices in boats
Because coastal-cruising sailors are most often sailing on tight schedules, using their boats for only a day or two or, at most, a week or two at a time, the first thing they need to consider when choosing a new boat is its speed. Not that this is the only criterion, but the faster the boat, the larger your cruising ground. On a coast where harbors and anchorages are few and far between, a slow, heavy vessel will not prove much fun. Unless you live in an area where places to pull in are only a few miles apart, it is wise to look for something that can average at least 5 knots under both sail and power if it’s a smaller vessel — say, 32 feet and under — and at least 6 to 7 knots if it’s a larger vessel. Usually this means you’ll be favoring a lighter boat with a fin keel and spade rudder over a heavier boat with a fuller underbody.

Because coastal-cruising boats are not as likely to be caught out in bad weather for extended periods, their construction need not meet offshore standards. Any of the popular mass-produced boats currently on the market should be more than adequate in terms of strength. Because coastal boats do tend to spend a lot of time tied up to docks, you may wish to focus on amenities. A substantial AC shore-power system is usually a critical item and will go a long way toward making your boat as comfortable as your home, allowing you to enjoy microwaves, hair driers, air conditioning, televisions, and other luxuries without installing such impedimenta as generators, huge battery banks, and inverters. Nor do you need big tanks. Capacities of as little as 20 gallons of fuel and 50 of water, given a mid-size boat between 30 and 40 feet, should be adequate in most cases.

Otherwise, what constitutes a well-equipped coastal cruiser varies by location. A boat based in colder, more northern waters will get a lot more use if it has a sheltered cockpit and a good heater on board. Likewise, a boat in the sunny south will need good ventilation and a good bimini to keep its crew happy. The same goes for the sail inventory. If light winds predominate, you will need a big genoa, probably a spinnaker or drifter, and a lightweight main. If your cruising ground sees a lot of heavy air, you’ll need smaller, tougher sails. In all cases, you’ll want a roller-reefing headsail with a sunstrip (so you can leave it bent on when the boat is idle) and a mainsail cover that is easy to put on and remove. The faster you can get under way, the more you will use the boat. Charles J. Doane

Performance cruisers

I’ve already urged you to favor faster boats over slower boats when shopping for a coastal cruiser. Here’s an even more radical suggestion: How about getting a boat that’s really, really fast? For a certain sort of sailor, particularly one who likes to both race and cruise, the temptation to favor speed above all else will be irresistible. If you are one of these, you’ll need to keep a few things in mind.

Lesson number one: You can’t have it all. There is a decided trend among many production-boat builders these days to enlarge a boat’s accommodations at the expense of its performance potential. There are still several boats that favor the performance end of the spectrum, but that almost always means sacrificing accommodation space. The extreme examples here are the smaller coastal trimarans and catamarans on the market. These boats are a total blast to sail and can easily top 10 knots under sail, but the living space and amenities down below are definitely minimal — though multihulls do have lots of deck space to play on. Faster boats (at least when it comes to monohulls) also tend to be deeper boats. This will limit your ability to explore shoal-draft cruising grounds.

Lesson number two: Fast is more expensive. Performance boats are often built of high-tech lightweight materials; their rigs and sail inventories are also more sophisticated. Many now sport retractable bowsprits that facilitate the setting of large asymmetric spinnakers. All this costs money. Such boats also tend to demand more maintenance. If speed is what most thrills you, you’ll need to spend more time fairing the bottom and keeping it clean, overhauling winches, and so on.

Lesson number three: If you want to race as well as cruise, be sure to do some research. Simply getting the fastest boat you can afford may not be the best way to find the best action. Check to see which types of boats are most commonly raced in your area so you can be sure of finding some interesting competition.

Panama Gets a New Cruise Port in Colon

Introduction – Today it was announced that Panama is opening a new cruise ship port and terminal in Colon on the Atlantic side. The port will open in Dec. 2008. At the present time there is a cruise terminal in Colon to receive ships for a day stop only. Ships generally not passing through the canal will stop at Colon disembarking passengers for tours, shopping trips etc. The ships will generally pull in during the morning and leave at dinnertime. Colon is the second largest duty free zone in the world second to Hong Kong. It is simple for one to take a tour from Colon to the Panama Canal.

Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas – Royal Caribbean has announced that it will be deploying one of its modern ships by the name of Enchantment of the Seas. This cruise ship is 80,000 tons and was built in 1997 and refurbished in 1999 and again in 2005. It is not a flag ship of the line, yet still quite a respectable cruise liner. The boat was stretched out when refurbished in 2005 and is now 990 feet long, roughly as long as an aircraft carrier. The ship carries 2446 passengers and has a crew of 760. There are 6 hot tubs, three swimming pools, a rock climbing wall, spa, gym, full beauty salon, jogging track, and of course it has a rock-climbing wall. How can you cruise without a rock-climbing wall? There is a casino, 10 bars, and the ship has 11 decks extending above the water. This is no slouch of a boat. The itinerary of the boat will be Columbia, Aruba and Curacao with 17 such one-week cruises planned during the first season.

Discussion – Okay so now Panama is going to become a cruise port. The major ports in the general region, broadly speaking, are Miami, and Ft. Lauderdale. Many people in Central and South America have difficulty getting visas to go to America. To take a cruise starting or terminating in the USA one must obtain a visa to go to the USA unless they are able to travel to the country without a visa. Most of the countries are not this way with Argentina being the exception.

The visa process involves waking up early in the morning to go stand online at the USA Embassy waiting to go in for an interview. Numerous documents are required, reasons for the trip, why you are not a risk for overstaying the visa etc. There are fees involved, which are about $165 a person. Many people do not wish to go through this process. Many others are willing to go through the process but are unable to get the visa for various reasons.

Additionally people have been complaining about the treatment they get from USA immigration being unpleasant when they arrive and depart America. This has been hurting the cruise industry in the USA in a big way. Check cruise prices and it is common to see discounts of 50% most of the time from the USA ports of departure. This will give the cruise companies a chance to recover a market they have been missing out on in recent years which is the Central and South American market. It will also give Panama a chance to gain some tourism dollars. People taking cruises frequently come in a day or two before the cruise and stay a day or two after the cruise to see the local attractions.

The word we got was that the other cruise lines would follow suit and begin originating cruises from Panama as well. One could expect to see a bustling cruise port like Miami in the near future is what we were told to expect. We welcome the cruise industry and see it as having a positive effect.

Remember this port is not designed to attract the USA tourist dollar. While some USA tourists will come here the overwhelming majority of the cruisers will be from Central and South America. It is cheaper and easier for the USA resident to take a cruise departing from: Los Angeles, New Orleans, Houston, Tampa, New York, Orlando, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, or Puerto Rico. This is not going to give the USA some sort of leverage to use on Panama to get them to do what they want like weaken banking laws etc. If the Caymans Islands or the Bahamas did not comply with the USA regarding bank or corporate laws the USA could make like very difficult for anyone cruising to these destinations with lots of searching, long delays clearing customs and immigration etc. Places like the Caymans and Bahamas have heavy cruise and tourism industries that provide many more jobs than the banking industry. If you have ever been to the Caymans not many locals work in the banking sector. The new cruise port in Panama has no applicability to the USA since the passengers will not be subject to USA immigration and customs since the cruise boat will not be originating, terminating or traveling to the USA and the passengers will by and large not be Americans.

We are expecting to see a lot of South and Central American destinations like Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Aruba, Curacao, and Columbia. On longer cruises of 10 days or longer the cruise ships could travel to some of the popular Caribbean destinations like Nassau, Caymans, and Jamaica etc. Panama has very wisely chosen to go after the Central and South American tourism market. Is there going to be a Disney Amusement Park in Panama? Stay tuned.

Popular Cruise Ship Travel Options

When it comes to planning a vacation aboard a cruise ship, many individuals focus their planning solely on their cruise. For many individuals, this can be a costly mistake. While the cruise itself is important, so is how you plan on making it to your vacation.

Unfortunately, a large number of individuals are unaware that they must make travel arrangements to their cruise ships departure location. When many individuals become aware of this fact, it is often too late for them to change their mind. You are encouraged not to be one of those individuals. When booking a cruise, it is important to keep a cruise ships departure location in mind. Doing so may prevent unnecessary travel expenses.

Selecting a cruise ship, with a close departure location, is advisable. Unfortunately, for many this is impossible. A limited number of costal locations serve as cruise ship departure ports. If you are unable to find a cruise ship departure location that is within a short distance to your home, you need to consider the cost of travel while booking your reservations. This cost is important because it may cause your vacation costs to exceed what you had previously expected.

In the event that you must make travel plans to reach your cruise ship departure location, you should consider all options. These options may include driving your own vehicle, renting a car, flying on an airplane, riding the bus, or taking the train. All of the foresaid travel methods are doable, but the option you select will likely depend on convenience and the cost of travel.

There are a number of advantages and disadvantage to driving yourself to your cruise ship departure location. The greatest advantage of doing so is that your travel will be easy. Simply by hopping into your vehicle and hitting the road, you could be on your way. When driving your own vehicle, planning is often easier. The only downside to driving your own vehicle is the cost of gasoline. If you are required to drive a long distance, the cost could substantially add up.

If you are worried about the excessive miles on your own vehicle, you could rent one. Vehicle rentals are a popular way to reach your designation without an excessive amount of planning. Unfortunately, the cost of gasoline will also have an impact on driving. In addition to the cost of gasoline, the length of your cruise may also have an effect on the total cost of renting a vehicle. Vehicle rentals are charged by the day; therefore, if your car rental is left in a parking lot you may be wasting money.

Flying is a popular travel method; however, it can be a costly one. Individuals trying to reach their cruise ship departure location are often encouraged not to arrive at their destination by airplane, unless absolutely necessary. This is due to the cost of flying. If your cruise ship departure port is only a few hours a way, air travel may not be the best option. However, there are some cases where air travel may be the only option. If you are without your own vehicle, flying may be necessary to reach your cruise ships departure location.

Traveling to your cruise ships departure location by bus or train are other acceptable travel options. Each is likely to take some time, but they are both inexpensive ways to travel. Many individuals can easily afford a bus ticket or a train ticket. Aside from excessive stops, it is possible that you may not have access to either. Bus stations and train stations are only available in limited locations. You may find it difficult or impossible to find a station that offers service to the location of your choice.

Each of the above mentioned travel methods all have their advantages and disadvantages. To find the perfect method of travel to reach your cruise ships departure location, you should weigh the advantages and disadvantages of each method. Once you have decided which method best fits your needs, you can rest assure knowing that you will make it on time for your cruise ships departure.

Family Vacations aboard a Cruise Ship

Each year, millions of families make the decision to take a family vacation. If you and your family are interested in becoming one of those families, you have a number of different options. Your options may include, but are not limited to, camping, visiting the beach, visiting a local amusement park, or setting sail on the water.

Setting sail on the water is a something that many individuals would like to do. Unfortunately, most individuals do not own a boat or know how to operate one. The good news is that you do not have to know anything about boats to enjoy a fun family vacation aboard a cruise ship. For years now, cruise ships have been creating fun, exciting, and safe vacation environments for families.

You may be wondering if you and your family would enjoy a vacation aboard a cruise ship. The reality is that all families vary. Each family member is likely to have a personal preference. Despite that preferences, cruise ships are often enjoyed by everyone, not matter what their age. This is because cruise ships offer a wide range of activities. These activities are geared towards individuals of all ages.

To decide whether or not your family should take a family vacation aboard a cruise ship, you are encouraged to consider cruise ship benefits. The most obvious benefit, as mentioned above, is the onboard activities. On any given cruise ship, you are likely to find an unlimited number of activities for both children and adults. These activities may include swimming, gaming, gambling, eating, watching movies, and dancing.

Other one of the many benefits of taking a family cruise ship vacation is the fact that almost all cruise ships have onboard childcare. If you are traveling with small children, these childcare centers may allow you to have private moments by yourself or with your spouse. These childcare centers are often operated free of charge. That means that within a few minutes, you could drop your child off and be on your way to pampering yourself.

A cruise ship vacation benefit that many individuals do not consider is the quality time spent together. While it is true that this quality time together can be spent anywhere, it is often more memorable on a cruise ship. Many travelers view the close corridors as a disadvantage, but in a way it may benefit your family. This benefit is most often seen with teenagers. When a child becomes a teen, spending time with their family is often eliminated from their list of priorities. A cruise ship will provide them with fun and exciting activities, but it will also allow you and your child to reconnect.

The memories made on a cruise ship are often incomparable. The majority of children will be unable to, for one reason or another, take a cruise when they reach adulthood. This memory is one that could serve them for a lifetime. To cherish this memory, you are encouraged to bring along a camera or video recorder. In addition to enjoying the cruise in the present, you and your family will also be able to enjoy it in the future. Can you imagine sitting around your kitchen table twenty years from now reminiscing with your family?

Wherever you and your family decide to vacation, whether it be on a cruise ship or not, your vacation is sure to be memorable. For a reasonable price, you can have an unforgettable vacation. If a cruise is financially within your reach, why not grab hold of the experience while you can?
